Jefferson native Julia Bordenaro (JHS class of 1985) and her husband Ira Levin, also known as The Levins, will perform Sunday, July 21, at 4 pm at History Boy Theatre in Jefferson.
They will showcase songs from their new release, Caravan of Dawn, with hit the Top 10 on the Folk DJ Chart in May and Top 20 on the roots Music Report (#14) in June.
The Levins have been touring nationally since 2010 and have become know for their “sun-splashed, peace-filled music that bridges and connects on a universal level with a lighthearted depth,” a press release states.
Julia Bordenaro Levin plays piano and Ira Levin plays guitar. Their unique harmonies and tightly blended vocals will remind listeners of The Weepies, Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkel, Iron & Wine, Sutjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes and Patty Griffin.
Tickets are $10 and are available in advance at History Boy Theatre or at the door.
